Analytics is part of Plus. It tells you how your page is doing without telling you anything about the people visiting it.
What you get
A view count for your page, click counts per link, and a rough picture of which hours were busy. That is the whole list.
What is never collected
No names, no IP addresses stored against a visit, no cookies set on your visitors, no third-party trackers, no profile of anyone built across sites. We cannot tell you who visited, because we do not know. Your own visits to your page are not counted either.
Free pages count nothing at all
Not reduced, not sampled, not anonymised. Nothing is recorded. That is deliberate: counting every view is the most expensive thing a page can do, and it is the reason most free link tools end up reaching for advertising. Not counting is what makes a free page cheap enough to keep online indefinitely.
Turning it off
Plus creators can switch analytics off per page from the dashboard, under Privacy and Data. Existing counts freeze rather than disappear, and they start moving again if you turn it back on.
The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
